THE SOUNDBATH STUDIO
" The Piano Keys are Black and White,
but They Sound Like a Million Colors in Your Mind "
What is the purpose of sound?
How can we use music to clear our minds and disarm our limitations?
In the past years, we have been working to incorporate effective and less invasive mind conditioning modalities in our programs. Sound-therapy has proven to bridge clinical hypnosis with meditation and inner child work.
This effective sound immersion induces generative thinking, body-mind stress reduction,
among many other benefits.
Primal and pure sounds are the key to unlock our most profound memory-box and initiating a process for trauma recovery and self-actualization.
Our job is to support that transformative conversation until it becomes your new reality.
We effectively apply these techniques to Individual Coaching and
Corporate Wellness Programs.
BEHAVIORAL COACHING / CLINICAL HYPNOSIS
Behavior Modification Coaching and habit-control strategies are defining factors to redirect our actions toward our desired outcomes.
The art of coaching distinguishes itself from psychotherapy by being more solution-focused toward a final goal rather than analyzing the history that led to a presenting life situation.
We do not work with issues presenting a medical etiology unless per medical referral, but our scope of practice is wide-ranging.
And it often involves a kinesthetic learning approach like the case of somatic therapies as BreathWork and SoundMeditation.
Hypnotherapy, or Clinical Hypnosis, is a therapeutic approach that promotes deep, lasting change at the subconscious level by conditioning the mind to shift states of awareness.
Its application includes -but is not limited to- habit change, fears & phobias, smoking cessation, attitude adjustment, weight loss, stress, anxiety, sexual problems, public speaking, trauma, anger, procrastination, nail-biting, sports peak performance, nightmares...
Neuro-Linguistic Programming ( NLP ) share with hypnosis many characteristics but primarily consists of a variety of communication techniques and tools for personal development, leadership, and authority.
PSYCH-K. This approach is the process of identifying unconscious belief systems that are not producing desired outcomes. Old beliefs can be dissolved and replaced by value-driven behaviors.
Personality Intelligence. This modality offers a rapid way to discover your core values. Through an educational approach, you will discover the importance of knowing what drives your personality. It will set you up to effectively implement value systems for you and others. This process can make an impact on your every-day life.
BREATHWORK & MEDITATION
Mindfulness is the practice of being aware of what's going on in the moment and
eliciting hyper-awareness of the surrounding environment.
Studies now show with stronger evidence the positive effect of meditation on
depression, anxiety, and chronic pain.
In our experience, we can attest that meditation doesn't come easy to everybody.
In the past few years, we had the chance to explore and develop one more ACTIVE approach to meditation that stresses the attention on one of the most common anchors used in traditional meditation: the breath.
How can the simple act of breathing be so beneficial to our body and mind?
That is a question that we asked ourselves when we got introduced to BreathWork.
BreathWork requires us to change our normal way of breathing:
it becomes a voluntary systematic change in the pattern, uncomfortable at some level, capable of producing physiological changes as a fitness routine does. It is not the way we regularly breathe, but a focused and clinical adjustment of our air intake and its distribution in the body with specific timing, intensity, and repetition to make it closer to a workout session than a mental exercise.
Nevertheless, Breathwork shows dramatically the connection between the mind and the body and how one affects the other. By working with our core muscles and lungs, physical sensations transfer into our emotions.
Guided by a competent facilitator, you will be capable of moving up that threshold of perceived fear and experiencing a deep meditation-like state. We increase capacity for inter reception so that the critical mind becomes aware of the body, by listening to the body and disengaging from the cognitive rumination of negative thoughts about the self.
